I just did the same thing and got a great Term Life policy for me and my kids and grand daughter. It pays off the mortgage and other medical expenses, plus burial and final expenses. The hardest part for me was recognizing that I am mortal and will die at some time. People hate this thought and facing their own mortality. As for things that I worry about is how much is enough and what happens if both of us die at the same time - multiple beneficiaries seemed really cumbersome. What options do we have to increase benefits over the years - will the benefits ever decrease, that kind of thing. Good luck with the article!
