- If you are going to be driving the car every day go back to Progressive. The site has a drop down box to pick Pre 81 or call Progressive and they will give you a quote over the phone. If you are going to be restoring it and only driving on a very occ ional basis it can be insured on a collectors car policy. Try either grundy.com or hagerty.com. You need to check the rules that each company has regarding mileage and useage of the vehicles if you do insure them on this type of policy
